About Our School

Boulder Creek Elementary School (BCES) offers exceptional education to all students. The well-planned lessons align with Arizona State Standards, and prescriptive reading and writing instruction, as mandated by state and federal laws. Boulder Creek is committed to providing a challenging yet nurturing learning environment for all students.

The school provides a nurturing and secure learning environment for your little ones here at Boulder Creek. The esteemed PAWS Citizenship Program is designed to prevent bullying and violence, while the All Things EQ initiative fosters valuable character traits, including responsibility, fairness, citizenship, caring, trustworthiness, and respect. Your child's development and well-being are top priorities.

Boulder Creek offers a diverse range of special area classes including art, P.E., media, music, and technology, ensuring that our students' interests are catered to. The classrooms are equipped with laptops, and a state-of-the-art Maker Space lab is available for whole classroom use, supervised by expert teachers. Further, students receive technology lessons in the computer lab, and teachers have access to technology carts (iPads and computers) every week to enhance their teaching experience. 

Boulder Creek Elementary School has received an A rating from the esteemed Arizona Department of Education. Every single student is included in the data that determines the school grade. The school is renowned for its exceptional staff and students, and takes great pride in fostering a positive, supportive learning environment.

Being a Boulder Creek student is an incredible experience that far surpasses competing against one. Students are encouraged to grow and excel through a variety of teaching methods, including group, small group, and individual instruction. Vision

The vision of Boulder Creek Elementary School is to provide an environment where students, parents, and faculty feel welcome, safe, and successful.  Students participate in a child-centered, research-based program that addresses unique learning styles.  Faculty receives continuous staff development promoting effective teaching strategies and a challenging curriculum that addresses the individual potential of each student.  Parents are supportive and actively involved.  Diversity is fostered by respect and collaboration among all shareholders.  Communication is evidenced by meaningful, data-driven, parent-teacher conferences, newsletters, feedback, and input from all Boulder Creek community members.

Boulder Creek is a community tucked at the base of The Foothills separated by Cave Creek Road and the 101 freeway. This natural isolation brings families together as a close-knit community. The school brings families together through education and activities.
